Tigray Disabled Veterans Association (TDVA) delegation team back home after
accomplishing successful tour to different states in North America. The
delegation team led by Hon. Asmelash W/Selasie disclosed up on their arrival
about the delegation’s mission and the successful fundraising events conducted
in eight states in USA and Canada (for detail).

back home after accomplishing successful tour to different states in North
America. The delegation team led by Hon. Asmelash W/Selasie disclosed up on
their arrival about the delegation’s mission and the successful fundraising events
conducted in eight states in USA and Canada (for detail).
Hon. Asmelash expresses his heartfelt gratitude on behalf of
the delegation, the association and its member disabled compatriots to all
supports made by the Diaspora community. According to him the delegation team
accomplishes the following missions:
• Communicating with the Diaspora community about
the veterans with disabilities situation, their organization, TDVA, and creates
the
quintessence of oneness in our common agendas like the issue of well-being of
war disabled veterans.
• Solicit different financial, technical and
material assistances to strengthen the rehabilitation efforts in general.
• Establish TDVA North America ink. To ensure TDVA’s
physical presence in north America aiming to bridge the communication gap.
On this regard the team is proud of all the committee
members in all the states for their relentless efforts and dedication that make
all our programs successful. UTNA’s decision and effort remarkably contributes a lot towards the
success of the program. Women
and youth associations, prominent individuals and various
alumni’s that took part in the events played their own role in all aspects.
Special thanks shall also goes to the volunteer Tigrigna
artists.
It is to be remembered right from the day the TDVA plan the
tour, various Medias tried to reverberate and promote the intended tasks from

In all our undertakings the delegation team and
committee members provide: DVD prepared by the association under the title:
“we are not desperate! We are winner yet again!’’; provide certificate of gratitude and an official cash receipt
voucher in recognition of their pledge.
In all the discussion forums a consensus is reached as to who
is responsible for the rehabilitation efforts of war disabled veterans taking the
particular situation in our country? And what should we do after scrutinizing
what has been endeavored so far by each and every party that we think is
responsible? It is quite obvious that The TDVA vision lies on self reliance
efforts and we believe it is each and every one’s responsibility to take part
in all the program activities we have in various aspects. On this respect the
Diaspora community expresses their commitment to continuously assist TDVA’s
effort and do their own part not only through occasional fundraising events but
also through becoming associate volunteer members which they think is the best
way of ensuring participation and continuous assistance.
It is also agreed that the event organizing committees in
each of the eight states will represent TDVA in their area under the out spices
of TDVA North America. Ink board based in Washington DC.
The TDVA learned that all the community were expressing their
deepest love and support to the heroes and heroin members of TDVA. It is a
great honor for TDVA and proud to have people like you on its side. No doubt
the victories will be repeated in the fight against poverty and work together
for the betterment of the welfare in general being hand in hand.
After the delegation team finalizes the report, it will open
a discussion forum in line with its other program activities in all corners
where TDVA member veterans with
disabilities reside to discuss on the TDVA delegation North America tour plan,
achievements & proposed intervention areas. The team also wants to remind
to all the community & others who could not by chance accompany us to
communicate with the volunteer
